This is a Friday night bar patch for obvious reasons. The 56th was only an Air Rescue Squadron from 1989 until 1993 so makes this a HH-3 patch, possibly a HH-60 patch as the Pavehawk arrived at the Squadron in 1992.
Partly embroidered on twill with a merrowed edge & the Giant in Sinister.

A number of patches
were made with characters on them based on where the Squadron was based. As the
56th was based at Iceland, their character was an Icelandic Viking.
Research has discovered that these patches weren’t used by anyone in the Squadron and they were made and purchased by crew who bought them in South Korea. I've included this just in case you come across one & wonder what it is.
