USAF / 102d RQS / HH-60G / Jolly Green Giant Patch

102d Rescue Squadron
Francis S. Gabreski ANGB
Full Colour
c.2010
This patch dates from the 2010 era, & the Squadron has been active as a RQS since March 1992. However the unit traces its history back to June 1975 as the 102d ARRS. This was manufactured in Taiwan as it has a sticker on the back of the patch.
Fully embroidered with a plastic backing & a selvedge edge with the Giant in Dexter.

This is what it feels to taxi a HH-60G back to its parking position after a training flight.

Full Colour
c.2016
This is one of a pair of patches sold as a patch made for the 33d,  however its actually the 102d RQS. It looks as though they were made while on TDY somewhere as it lacks a little in the final finish.
Fully embroidered with a selvedge edge with the Giant in Dexter.

The HH-60G's conduct a lot of ship operations as they support sailors on USS warships.
