Crashed on a instructor proficiency training sortie when the Pavehawk impacted the crest of a small knoll on the Angel Fire Vietnam Memorial property. The HH-60 rolled left and Scott was thrown from the cabin & was killed. This was his "fini" flight prior to his retirement. The pilot & co-pilot survived the crash.
