USAF / 41st ERQS / HH-60G / Jolly Green Giant

41st Expeditionary Rescue Squadron
Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan
Desert Subdued Colour
early 2000's
(USAF Photo/TSgt Zachary Wolf)
This patch was probably made in the early years of the 2000's when the Squadron was deployed to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan for Operation ENDURING FREEDOM or Iraq for Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Trying to decipher which theatre it was made for is very tricky.
Fully embroidered with a merrowed edge, backed with hook and loop with the giant in Dexter.

This is a different version of a 41st ERQS patch and dates back to operations in Afghanistan or Iraq c. 2005. The company that manufactured this patch must have been used by more than the 41st RQS, as similar examples and designs have been made for the 66th RQS and the 332nd ERQS.
Embroidered on twill with a merrowed edge with the giant in Dexter.

A couple of HH-60's are 'wheels up' late in the day from Bagram Airfield after a call from Allied forces for help.
