While extracting a Special Forces Team contact with the enemy the Jolly Green Giant received intensive ground fire, which damaged the helicopter & tragically killed two of the four crew.

He slept across from me in our Hooch, we had many a talks. I know that mission well. RIP BROTHER

ReplyDeleteI remember that day well his bunk was next to mine. I was the crew chief of the other HH-3 that was on that mission. Great loss!
