While extracting a Special Forces Team contact with the enemy the Jolly Green Giant received intensive ground fire, which damaged the helicopter & tragically killed two of the four crew.

  2. I was there the day they both died. Went to tech school with Greg. May they both rest in peace. Will never forget that day.

  4. I remember that day well his bunk was next to mine. I was the crew chief of the other HH-3 that was on that mission. Great loss!
