The HH-53 lost its tail rotor and crashed into the Tonle Sap, Cambodia. Three of the crew were tragically killed with two being rescued.

    RIP my brothers not sure how Karl and I survived that day but wanted to acknowledge I’m sure you men aided our escape thank you and God Bless 👣👍👣

    I remember that day very well. Very sad for all. Later I volunteered to go on the crash investigation at Phnom Penh, Cambodia. RIP Brothers!
