USAF / 101st RQS / HH-60G / Jolly Green Giant

The patches from The New York Air National Guard have NEVER been easy to come by, which seems slightly odd, however it may be because they are federally run & patches that are purchased with taxpayers money normally aren't sold. Well that's my thoughts on it.

101st Rescue Squadron
Francis S. Gabreski ANGB
Woodland Subdued Colour
2004
This patch is a difficult to find 101st RQS patch, and dates from the 2004 to present. The woodland subdued version was the Squadrons main Jolly green patch for a long time as they never had a colour version until the 2000's.
The patch is fully embroidered with a merrowed edge, backed with hook & loop with the Giant in Dexter.

This patch was manufactured by RamaWorld from California & is a colour patch they supplied to the Squadron. Its seen below in a photograph posted during 2024, so is/was obviously being used by crew on the Squadron.

2024
This version was manufactured in 2024 by a unknown company, so if you know who made it please let me know. Whoever it was made the same design for the 102nd and 129th RQS's.
Unusually that the Giant has black boots.
The crew go through their pre-flight checks prior to take off. The moustache on the nose of the Pavehawk is a throwback to the Pedro mission.
