USAF / 38th ARS / HH-3E / Jolly Green Giant

There aren't many 38th Air Rescue Squadron patches available, this is due to the Squadron only being active for just under 4 years. The colour version is hard to find, the subdued versions are slightly more easy.

This patch was made when the Squadron was designated an Air Rescue Squadron between 1989 and 1993. This is obviously a colour version, which is extremely difficult to find, probably far east made.

This is a heritage made patch for the Squadron and was manufactured by Tiger Embroidery in Okinawa during 2023. I received this from a member of the 33d RQS who went to the shop and found them.
